Franz Pichler

Franz Pichler was born in 1960 in Seckau, Styria, Austria. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, from 1978 to 1983. In the years from 1983 to 1985 he taught at the Technical University, Vienna. In 1989 he received the prize of the 4th Triennale Kleinplastik, Fellbach. In 1990 he was awarded the Sandoz Prize for Fine Arts. Franz Pichler lives and works in Vienna.
