Ines Lombardi

Ines Lombardi was born in 1959 in São Paulo, Brazil. She studied at the Art Academy of São Paulo from 1978 to 1980 and in London from 1979 to 1980, from where she moved to Vienna. From 1980 to 1986 she studied at the University (then College) of Applied Arts in Vienna with Maria Lassnig. Ines Lombardi has been awarded several promotional prizes. In 2005 she received the Prize of the City of Vienna for Visual Arts and in 2013 the Prize of the City of Vienna for Visual Arts. She is a member of the Vereinigung Bildender Künstler:innen and has been a member of the Wiener Secession since 1989. Ines Lombardi lives and works in Vienna.
