Klaus Auderer
Klaus Auderer was born in 1968 in Ehenbichl, Austria, and studied fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1996 to 2001 and at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Tel Aviv in 2002 and 2003. He lived for a long time in Israel, where he intensively studied the cultures of the Middle East, their origins, similarities and also differences to the West, as well as the political-religious conflicts and socio-political effects. In his artistic work he reflects the results and impressions.
His artistic production includes photography, installation, video and, as he puts it himself, the "abuse of painting". Solo exhibitions by the artist have included Kunstraum Innsbruck (2004), Galerie foto-forum, Bolzano (2007), and the photo wall + video wall at Kunsthalle Wien (2008). Auderer lives and works in Munich.
