Rini Tandon

Rini Tandon was born in 1956 in Raipur, India. From 1973 to 1976, she studied fine arts at New Delhi University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. From 1976 to 1978, she continued her art studies at Baroda University in Vadodara in Gujarat, India. In 1987 she moved to Vienna, where she studied at the University (then College) of Applied Arts until 1982. Since 1987 she has been teaching at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.
She participated in Austria and internationally in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, North Macedonia, India and Russia. Solo exhibitions dedicated to her, among others, in 2000 the Neue Galerie im Landesmuseum Joanneum, Graz and in 1989 the Secession, Vienna. Rini Tandon lives and works in Vienna.
