Rodney Graham
Rodney Graham was born in 1999 in Matsqui, now part of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. In 1964 his family moved to Vancouver, Canada. He studied art history at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver from 1968 to 1971 and then at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby from 1978 to 1979. In 2006, he received the Kurt Schwitters Prize for Visual Arts from the Lower Saxony Savings Bank Foundation. Rodney Graham lived and worked in Vancouver, where he died in 2022.
