WGBH-TV

WGBH-TV was the first public television station in Boston and the first non-commercial television station in New England, going on the air at 5:20 p.m. on May 2, 1955. WGBH-TV (Channel 2) has been referred to as GBH or GBH 2 since 2020 and is the main Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) television station in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is the flagship station of the WGBH Educational Foundation.
