Willi Kopf

Willi Kopf was born in 1949 in Rankweil, Vorarlberg, Austria. From 1965 to 1966 he completed an apprenticeship as an altar builder. From 1966 to 1970 he attended the School of Arts and Crafts. From 1970 to 1976 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Fritz Wotruba and Oswald Oberhuber. From 1976 to 2014 he was a lecturer at the University (formerly College) of Applied Arts in Vienna. Willi Kopf lives and works in Vienna.
